Warm Springs Extension Progress

Work continues to progress on the BART Warm Springs Extension Project which will add 5.4 miles of new tracks from the existing Fremont Station south to a new station in the Warm Springs District of the City of Fremont.

The project has begun to transition from Heavy Civil Construction into Systems and Electrical. Alstom is providing the Automatic Train Control System and now has Engineers onsite to conduct field testing at

the various train control houses. We will then segue into System Integration testing followed by pre-

revenue testing towards the end of 2015.
